Vic Leigh has worked in many fields throughout her life. She enjoys reading all authors, but romantic fiction and contemporary romance are her favorites. She has raised eight children, has seven grandchildren, and is a busy woman. Her small town romance books are hot, spicy, and addictive.
Please welcome, Vic Leigh!
Can you tell us a bit about you and how you got into writing?
I started writing during Covid. I have always wanted to write, but didn't have the time. When I started, I just couldn't stop.
Did you always know you wanted to be an author?
I knew several years ago that I wanted to write a book, I just didn't know how to get started. Once I figured it out, things started falling into place.
If you could have dinner with any character from your book, who would you choose?
Aunt Mary from Magnolia Cottage. She was a character that had passed. As you read the book you get to know her through her letters and things that happen. She was a feisty broad and loved her niece.
Do you have any specific writing rituals?
Just getting to write...lol...I am a teacher and try to get some writing in every day, but no real rituals that I do.
Can you give us a hint about any current or future projects you’re excited about?
I'm super excited about my next stand-alone that is coming out in late August or early September, Educating Mr. B. Emily, age 40, is the CFO of a software company, and she finds that her new assistant, Alex Bennett, age 25, is going to be her next conquest. What happens is very unexpected. Then, later in the year, I'll release book 1 of my next series, The Steel Security and Investigations Series. It's going to be wild and exciting.
