Laura May is a pseudonym of a Ukrainian-American author. Laura lived in Kyiv till her mid-twenties. Now she can be found traveling around the world. Please welcome Laura May!
Can you tell us a bit about you and how you got into writing?
My name is Laura May, and I am a Ukrainian-American author. I lived in Kyiv until my mid-twenties. I write LGBTQ+ romance and literary fiction. Three of my books are out now: The One Woman, I See You In My Dreams, and Do You Wish You Never Met Me?
From a young age, I was an avid reader. The power of storytelling and the emotions that books could evoke in me inspired me to start writing my own stories. I found joy in creating worlds and characters that resonate with readers on a deep level.
Did you always know you wanted to be an author?
No, but stories have been rolling around in my head since childhood.
Her journey through the book touches on themes of love, grief, regret, and self-discovery, making her someone I would be fascinated to spend time with.
Do you have any specific writing rituals?
