Friday Feature: Victoria Blue

YAY, my first Friday Feature. I am so excited to spotlight this amazing author. My favorite thing about Victoria's books is that she is not afraid to write messy, imperfect characters, and also talk about mental health! Enjoy!!!!

Can you tell us a bit about you and how you got into writing?

My name is Victoria Blue. I live in Southern California with my husband of thirty years and two adult children. I started writing in an online role-playing group somewhere around 2010 and things kind of took off from there.

Did you always know you wanted to be an author?

No. This came to me a bit later than most. I became an avid reader and really wanted to recreate the feelings I got from my favorite books from stories I wrote myself.

If you could have dinner with any character from your book, who would you choose?

That’s a really tough choice. I’ll say Mac and Taylor from No White Knight and No Longer Lost from the Secrets of Stone series.

Do you have any specific writing rituals?

Not really. Most of the time I write in the evening so I just want to be comfortable, warm, and in a good chair.

Can you give us a hint about any current or future projects you’re excited about?

Currently I’m working on the third book in the Bombshells of Brentwood collection. I’ve been loving these stories because although the main characters are sisters, they’re all so unique. I think readers will identify with one or all of the women and the real life conflicts they deal with in the stories.
